Sea Ranch Lodge
o
Located
on the south end of Sea Ranch, it has a nice (but pricey) restaurant and
separate bar/lounge area with great ocean views, a post office and gift store.
You can also hike down to some beaches and bluff trail from here.

Two Fish Baking Company - 707-785-2443
o
You’ll
want to walk to Two Fish Bakery in the morning for fresh pastries, coffee and a
comfortable unique atmosphere. Or get a pizza, salad or a sandwich on fresh
baked bread with homemade lemonade for lunch.
Hint: They sell out on most days, so get there early or call ahead and
have them reserve your lunch or breakfast.
They are open four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, and are located

Sea Ranch Recreation Areas
o
There
are three Sea Ranch Recreation areas (Moonraker, Ohlson and Del Mar centers). Each has a pool, sauna and tennis courts.

Hiking
o
There
about 45 miles of hiking trails located on the The Sea Ranch. You can hike right on the ocean bluffs or up on the hillside. Check out
the Sea Ranch Hiking map included in this binder for trail locations.

Golf – The Sea Ranch Golf Links - 707-785-2468
o
The
Sea Ranch Golf Links is an 18 hole Championship
Golf Course. It’s open
to the general public and is located on the north end of Sea Ranch. Check out

The Beach
o
There
are about a half dozen beaches to explore at Sea Ranch. “Walk on” beach is the
longest, has very soft sand for walking barefoot and the most popular. If you only explore one beach, make it “Walk
on” beach. Check one of the Sea Ranch
maps for all Sea Ranch beach locations.

Sea Ranch Chapel, non-denominational
o
Even
if you aren’t particularly religious, this is worth checking out for its unique
architecture. It’s located on the east
side of Hwy 1 at marker 55.5 next to the un-manned fire station.
·
The Hot Spot
o
The
Hot Spot is a picnic area located among tall cool redwoods on the Gualala
River. You can either hike or drive to
the Hot Spot. It’s a great shady, non-ocean water destination on a hot summer
day.

One Eyed Jack’ s
o
One
Eyed Jack’s is a picnic area with beach access. It has a great children’s
playground and is a picnic area hosted by the Sea Ranch Volunteer Fire
Department on Labor Day.
North of The
Sea Ranch
·
Drive to Mendocino and Fort Bragg
o
Mendocino
is about an hour drive north of Sea Ranch on Hwy 1. It’s a beautiful drive along the coast and a
fun touristy destination with lots of restaurants, gift shops, art galleries,
etc. to explore. There are several small
towns along the way to stop and shop or just window shop, including Gualala,
Anchor Bay, Point Arena, Elk, and Little River.
From Mendocino, Fort Bragg, an old fishing harbor and is only another 10
minutes north along Hwy 1.

Gualala
o
About
10 minutes north of CLOUDSREST and the nearest town to Sea Ranch. It’s where you’ll
want to go for groceries, etc. It also
has a number of restaurants, art galleries, a book store, hardware stores, a
drug store and a couple of video stores.

Anchor Bay
o
About
20 minutes north of CLOUDSREST, Anchor Bay has a couple of unique restaurants
including a Mexican and a traditional restaurant.
·
St. Orres Restaurant and Inn
o
St
Orres was built about 30 years ago in classic Russian architecture. Dinners are pricey but it’s worth a quick
visit just to see the architecture. You
don’t have to buy anything to look around. It’s located just north of Gualala on the east
side of Hwy 1.
South of The Sea Ranch

Fort Ross
o
A
Russian settlement, established about 1830, it’s a 30 minute drive south of
CLOUDSREST on Hwy 1.
·
Jenner
o
A
cute little sea side town with restaurants and beach access about 1 hour south
of CLOUDSREST.
·
Bodega Bay
o
Another
sea side town with restaurants, gift shops, a small mall, beach access, etc.
It’s about 1-1/4 hours drive south of CLOUDSREST.
East of The Sea Ranch

Wine tasting at Annapolis Winery –

About
a 15 minute drive due east of CLOUDSREST on Annapolis Road. They have a nice wine tasting room and
grounds where they often host weddings. Call first for hours of operation and
